Alina joins Artemis Connection after most recently working in sports event management where she planned and executed a series of international ultra-endurance, self-supported running events. In this capacity, she worked with participants from nearly 100 countries and with athletes, sponsors, media outlets, government officials, local workers, and business representatives in locations far and wide, including Chile, China, Egypt, Iceland, Nepal, Jordan, and Antarctica. Alina’s background also includes professional experience in higher education and the non-profit sector. She enjoys tackling problems in complex and dynamic environments and working with others equally driven to make a positive impact.
Alina graduated with a B.A. in Anthropology from Princeton University and MBA from Western Washington University. Between her professional and personal pursuits, she has traveled to nearly fifty countries and jumped at the most unexpected opportunities, from coaching a men’s water polo team in Thailand to summiting Mt. Kenya. A lifelong athlete, Alina enjoys endurance racing, yoga, and pretty much anything outdoors. She lives in Bellingham, WA, with her family.
