Clare Hare joins us after working most recently as an Engagement Manager for SVP Partners-Connecticut, a venture philanthropy fund which offers volunteer consulting expertise, as well as financial grants.  She joined the non-profit field after her introduction as a Goldman Sachs Encore Fellow in NYC.  There she worked in business development and fundraising at Neighborhood Trust Financial Partners, an organization focusing on financial inclusion for low income citizens.

Prior to joining the non-profit world, Clare started and still manages her own company (for over 15 years) focusing on the design and manufacturing of resortwear made in NYC.

During her early career, Clare worked in investment banking at Goldman, Sachs and management consulting at McKinsey & Co.  Clare graduated with an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago and a BS from Brown University in Applied Math and Economics.  Clare has an interest in the arts, as well, and has worked for and volunteered with several arts organizations in the past, including the Yale Center for British Art and the Waterhouse & Dodd Gallery in NYC.

Clare is a recent elected member of the Board of Governors of the Brown Alumni Association and served as Treasurer.  Clare enjoys the outdoors and is involved in gardening and managing her family property in upstate New York under a forest stewardship plan.  She has three grown boys and lives in Connecticut with her husband.
