Kate Lee is a consultant and coach with more than twenty years of experience in writing, research, strategy, and business development. Her work with Fortune 100 companies, startups, academia, small businesses, non-profit organizations and government agencies in the United States, Africa, and Asia bring a valuable perspective to her clients.
Kate works with organizations and individuals who want to proactively define and shape their futures. She has managed programs and research projects, taught workshops on program evaluation, research methodologies, and writing. Her writing on issues around strategy, social enterprise, leadership, gender parity, and balance have been published by the Harvard Business School Press, EBSCO Publishing, Supply Chain Quarterly, and Prehospital Disaster Medicine.
Prior to founding By the Horns, Kate worked at Harvard Business School, the Center for International Health and Development, and Fronetics, a marketing firm she helped build.
Kate serves on the Board of Youth Arts and previously served on the Board of ROOF Overhead.
Kate holds a joint MA in International Relations and Environmental Policy from Boston University, an MPH with a concentration in International Health from Boston University School of Public Health, and a BA in Government from Colby College. She also holds a Certificate in Brain Based Coaching from the NeuroLeadership Institute.
