Laura brings more than a decade of creative leadership and design thinking in the entertainment industry to the Artemis team. A producer, writer, and former Disney Imagineer, Laura has worked on a wide-spectrum of entertainment projects from off-Broadway theatre to massive capital Disney theme park installations. Most recently she oversaw creative development on Na'vi River Journey, a new attraction at Disney's Animal Kingdom as part of Pandora: The World of Avatar. Her expertise in narrative storytelling, design, and complex problem-solving informs her strategy work with clients.
In 2016, Laura created a research and storytelling project focused on millennial women called The Brave Millennial. She hosted eleven forums in nine major US markets, interviewing more than 300 millennial women to gain insight about their successes and challenges in US workplaces. She now regularly speaks at conferences and colleges around the country about the importance of gender equity at work, as well as the merit of the most educated group of women in history.
Laura has a BFA from Baylor University, and an MFA in Producing from the California Institute of the Arts. She also holds a special certificate in Virtual Design and Construction from Stanford. Laura lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Dylan.
