Macharva Housley is a seasoned leader and strategic partner, with 18 years of experience spanning financial services, healthcare, and education. Most recently in her work with Bellwether Education Partners, she has advised schools, charter management organizations and multi-regional education for profits on business and strategic plan development, financial forecasting, and securing funds to fuel initiatives that support our highest need communities in the US educational system.
Prior to her time at Bellwether, Macharva held positions that spanned the nonprofit and private sectors in both leadership and advisory capacities. She has led teams in delivering both high-quality health care advisory services to large health care systems and high-quality health care services to patients. She has instituted programs that support workforce development efforts, and has consulted for Fortune 500 clients through her work with the Boston Consulting Group.
Macharva holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where she graduated in the top quartile of her class, and she graduated magna cum laude from New York University with a BA in Organizational Behavior and Communication. She lives in the Washington, D.C. area with her husband and two toddlers.
