Sonia Steinway

Sonia is a fintech entrepreneur, strategic advisor, and “recovering attorney.” She has written several academic articles on consumer finance and financial regulation, and has been frequently quoted as an expert in publications such as Forbes, Reader’s Digest, and USA Today.

Sonia is fascinated by the intersection among the for-profit, non-profit, and government sectors, and has focused her career on understanding and helping organizations (and the individuals they serve) to navigate those boundaries. She is also passionate about entrepreneurship and developing communities to support founders, especially those with more diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Sonia has no spare time; she spends all of it working, rock climbing, hiking, scuba diving, reading, crossword puzzling, and testing out new dessert recipes for her spouse and son.
