Ryan Chandra is a rising sophomore at Stanford University. A Bay Area native, he grew up in Los Altos, CA, and attended St. Francis High School in Mountain View, CA.

At Stanford, he is pursuing a major in Mathematical and Computational Science, with a minor in Public Policy. He is especially interested in the intersection between these two fields, and enjoys analyzing policy issues with a data-oriented perspective.

Outside of the classroom, Ryan does research with Professor Larry Diamond of the Hoover Institute and the Freeman Spogli Institute, where he examines American history, government, and policies on a federal and state level. Additionally, he serves as the Under-Secretary General of Crisis Committees for the Stanford Society for International Affairs, volunteers with Kids with Dreams, and is a member of Delta Tau Delta. In his free time, Ryan loves to explore anything and everything related to sports.
