The client is a large tech company with tens of thousands of employees, including many who are in temporary or contract positions.

Goals and Challenges

The company is growing fast, with an ongoing stream of new roles created and newly-promoted hiring managers looking to fill these roles. 

Despite having a brand name that attracts top talent, the client has trouble finding candidates who possess a generalist consultant/MBA profile—and who are ready to step into more strategic and operational roles. However, the client also needs this skill set in order to move its strategy forward.


After initially working with Artemis on a strategic consulting project, the client liked Artemis team members so much—including their ability to “get things done” strategically—that they asked them to help staff similar hires into the client’s contract positions.


Artemis partnered with the client to identify which roles they could help fill. Then, the firm created a tailored process to source and screen talent, plus quickly onboard them into the company’s systems. 

Artemis has staffed more than a dozen team members—most of them former consultants, recent MBA graduates, or strategy/operations generalists—at the company. And Artemis continues to maintain light-touch management of these newly embedded team members to ensure ongoing performance.
