Opportunity
A nonprofit cultural museum was facing a steady decline in individual donations. To sustain its mission and programming, the museum needed to diversify its revenue base and expand into corporate sponsorships and grants. Leadership sought a strategic partner to help identify high-potential funding opportunities, strengthen donor messaging, and create a repeatable process to support fundraising efforts long term.
Constraint
Response
Artemis partnered with the museum to assess its current positioning, fundraising approaches, and donor base. Our team shifted messaging to emphasize community impact, education, and cross-cultural engagement, all themes that resonated strongly with potential funders. We researched and prioritized grant and sponsorship opportunities, organized them into a submission schedule, and developed a comprehensive fundraising toolkit including a Theory of Change model, sponsorship deck, partnership tiers, and standardized outreach templates. To increase the capacity of the small team, we also introduced AI-enabled tools that streamlined application workflows and dramatically reduced submission timelines.
Impact
The museum now has a scalable, repeatable process for securing funding from corporate sponsors and foundations. With improved positioning, the organization was able to submit a high volume of tailored applications, establish several key funding relationships, and accelerate its fundraising cycle. The new toolkit and AI-driven processes not only improved efficiency but also gave the team confidence and structure to sustain momentum well beyond the engagement.
