Christy Johnson

CEO and Founder

Christy is an intrapreneur, entrepreneur, and strategist. She founded Artemis Connection to work with forward-thinking executives who want results and are willing to craft strategies with an intrapreneurial mindset. She is a former McKinsey Engagement Manager, a Stanford Graduate School of Business alum, and a career educator. She also regularly lectures on entrepreneurship, strategy, and innovation, including at Stanford GSB and more recently at the University of Washington. Christy and Artemis Connection have been featured in many publications, including The Wall Street Journal, The Economist, and MIT Sloan Management Review.

Adrian Blake

Adrian has 25 years of experience advising companies around the world on creating value, focusing principally on Digital Media and Heavy Industry. His functional expertise focuses on Strategy, Sales Force Effectiveness, Marketing, Product Launch, Communications, and Performance Improvement.  He has been involved in several Private Equity-led turnarounds.  Adrian began his career in the entertainment industry, driving the launch of Saturday Night Live in media markets around the world. He graduated with distinction from Harvard College with an A.B. in Classics; M.B.A. from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Kia Davis

Kia is a strategic advisor specialized in go-to-market, growth, DEI, technology, and entrepreneurship, with a special focus on developing and validating business models and adopting the consumer perspective. She has worked on projects in industries including financial services, healthcare, food, beauty, and consumer products in over 10 countries around the world. Kia wrote the book Flashpoint 100: Radical Business Growth in 100 Days for small businesses who wanted a do-it-yourself approach to strategy, as well as workshops and training aids, games, and simulations. She currently teaches innovation and entrepreneurship courses at the University of Washington, and trains entrepreneurs at tech startup bootcamps in the UAE.

Connor Kogge

Connor brings a professional background steeped in strategy and operational consulting primarily within private equity and tech, while also previously serving as Director of Strategic Initiatives for a leading manufacturer and marketer in the haircare industry. Additional marketing experience in multiple industries, including international and national sports, alongside a background in coaching and sports psychology powers Connor to deliver actionable strategy and solutions while empowering strategic leaders.

Felecia McKinney

Felecia has served as a project management director and a primary point of contact for key internal and external stakeholders on non-technical aspects of her projects. Felecia’s experience includes responsibility for driving operational components, including coordination, dissemination, and general oversight of project scope, and ensuring client satisfaction with outcomes. She is a solution-oriented and performance-focused project manager. For more than a decade, she has managed state, federal, non-profit, and for-profit projects including multimillion dollar and multi-year development contracts. Felecia earned her Masters of Public of Administration from The Evergreen State College.

Dan Vandervelde

Dan has 15 years of strategy and SMB experience including international licensing of intellectual property, market valuation, customer segmentation, and operating SMBs. He holds a PhD in Physics, was previously at McKinsey, and has held roles in technology and innovation. He excels at strategy, analysis, data management, and early-to-mid stage growth, with clients ranging from small businesses to multi-billion-dollar conglomerates, as well as non-profits and government. Dan is passionate about locating and promoting the world’s best ideas to tackle novel problems.

Francine Wiest

Francine is a physician and management consultant. Previously at McKinsey & Co, she continues her focus on healthcare and education for an array of local and international clients, government, and philanthropic institutions. She has been involved in education and education policy at local, state, and national levels, and recently completed her term as president of the Bellevue Public Schools Board of Directors. She is deeply committed to developing a diversity of leaders to tackle our biggest challenges. Francine graduated from Harvard College and Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, completed her residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, as well as a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars fellowship in health services research and the Teaching Scholars program at the University of Washington.
